This page explains how we handle claims of copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe your work has been used without permission on this site, follow the process outlined below to notify us.
What is the DMCA?
The DMCA is a law designed to protect intellectual property rights in the online environment. It provides a framework for removing content that violates copyrights. The law allows copyright holders to request the removal of infringing material and protects online platforms that follow its procedures.
Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content on this site infringes on your copyrighted work, please notify us by submitting a DMCA takedown notice. Your notice should include the following:
- Your Contact Information: Provide your name, address, phone number, and email address.
- Description of the Infringing Content: Identify the specific material that you believe infringes your copyright, along with a location (URL) on our website.
- Proof of Copyright Ownership: You must confirm that you are the owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyrighted work.
- A Statement of Good Faith: Affirm that you believe in good faith that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.

What Happens After You Submit a Notice?
Once we receive your notice, we will evaluate the claim and take the necessary action, which may include removing the content in question. You will receive an acknowledgment of your notice. Please allow up to 10 business days for us to process the request.
If we remove content based on your notice, we will notify the user who posted the material about the removal. The user may have the opportunity to file a counter-notice if they believe their content was removed in error.
Counter-Notification
If content was removed or disabled due to a DMCA takedown notice, the user may submit a counter-notice if they believe their content was wrongfully removed. The counter-notice must include:
- Your Contact Information: Name, address, phone number, and email address.
- Identification of the Material: Specify the material that was removed or disabled and the location (URL).
- Statement of Good Faith: A statement saying the material was removed due to a mistake or misidentification.
- Consent to Jurisdiction: A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your location.
- Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.
Once we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. They have 10-14 days to take further legal action, or the content will be reinstated.
Repeat Infringers
Our policy includes terminating the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate cases. If we determine that a user has repeatedly infringed on copyrights, we will take action to prevent further violations. We respect copyright law and strive to adhere to all provisions set forth by the DMCA.
Fair Use
We recognize that not all uses of copyrighted material are infringing. Uses such as criticism, commentary, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research may fall under “fair use” under U.S. copyright law. If your content was removed based on a claim of infringement and you believe it qualifies as fair use, we encourage you to file a counter-notice.
Our Commitment to Copyright Compliance
We respect intellectual property rights and are committed to complying with copyright laws. We have established this policy to promptly address claims of infringement and protect the rights of copyright holders. If you have any concerns or need further clarification on the DMCA, please reach out to us directly using the contact information provided above.
Changes to This DMCA Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in response to legal requirements. We encourage you to check back periodically for any updates. Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page with the updated date.
